The Chicago chapter has been busy spreading the joy of knitting to all ages. We've partnered with several local nursing homes to host monthly knitting clubs, creating a warm and welcoming community for residents. Kate’s middle school knitting club was a big hit, where we stitched and knitted while enjoying Taylor Swift tunes. Kate has also attended several Mitzvah fairs, leading to a meaningful partnership with a special needs organization, where she’s been teaching residents to knit and spending time socializing with them. This year, we’re excited to continue our involvement with Mitzvah fairs, launch a high school drive, and work on knitting circles in nursing homes.
